While on the road am listening to George Clinton's new Parliment album Medicaid Fraud Dogg. It is totally not what my preconcieved notions would have me believe it sounded like. It is a bit funky at times of course, but it is a very modern record with a mix of RnB, rap and cool moods with a sensual vibe. It is awesome, every single track I have listened to was damn good. George is OLD, you can hear it in his voice and he uses it sparingly. He seems to have produced it more than physically sculpted this fine, fine record. This one is about not being able to have his marijuana prescription filled while.on a road.trip.to Atlanta from up north...a modern record indeed.
