A rare chance to see Jean-Michel Jarre Live in a 2 hour show - set at the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Registan Square in Samarkand, Uzbekistan - one of the oldest inhabited towns in Central Asia. Expect to hear some familiar favourites remade and re-produced for the show, from the man known for some of the world's most visionary concerts -including the Great Pyramids of Giza, Beijing's Forbidden City, the Eiffel Tower and Moscow's Vorobyovy Gory. I'm not the biggest metalcore fan, but the good old Killswitch Engage is still on my playlist, especially the classic albums.
I intentionally didn't include their "greatest hits", because 'Rose of Sharyn' , 'The End of Heartache' and 'My Curse' come up everywhere. Personally, the Howard-era was a little closer to me because of Howard's tone and melodies, but Jesse is also a great singer, I like them all.
