My father had a Triumph 750 back in 1969 and repainted his helmet like an American flag with spray paint and using tape to create the stars and stripes, copying Denis Hopper's costume from the film. It's still in my stepmother's basement and I look at it whenever I visit her every year or so.

I'm not gonna say Arthur Lee was better than Jimi but I'd rather listen to Love than the Experience. Even though the production is kinda crap.

The first album, maybe. But Forever Changes grows and grows and the production is spot on, imho. Jimi recorded with Arthur.

I looked into this band when I saw Slash wearing their t-shirt. Best track on the album.

I dug out this CD from my collection this week. I'd forgotten all about the band!

    Living Things - Bombs Below.
I prefer this video of the song

    Here's the alternative video

And now for something completely different - I decided to listen to MANY of the sounds created by one of our members in his synthesizer sound design patches and preset creations.
Honestly, many of them are fabulous and he donates his hard work and many hours for nothing.
If they are reading this I am suggesting you put a donate button. I believe every person's time is worth something and I know some people will happily donate at least the price of a cup of coffee.
My reasons? There's enough division in the world. We're all better off if we encourage each other. This is NOT an advertisement or selling anything, just acknowledgement of the hard work and quality that is given away without asking for one cent.

Importantly, this is exactly as the thread title requests, what I listened to NOW.

Thank you @Somnambulist, as a thank you I send you:

    Jan Garbarek - Top Tracks

Jan Garbarek (born March 4, 1947 in Mysen, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz musician (saxophone, synthesizer, flute). He is one of the most important contemporary jazz musicians in Europe and is considered an outstanding representative of the Scandinavian jazz scene with his clear, ascetic saxophone sound.
