    Welch's version is good, yes, but King's voice cuts through the decades and delivers his soul to your heart. It is most beautiful, perfect and leaves you standing right next to him unseparated by time or place, his arm around your shoulder in comfort to help the pain fade to nothingness. You get the sense that you can count on him to be there for you personally as a friend, as a rock, as an anchor.
