As for Massive Attack, it is for me an essential band as it has marked its time.
Several albums really impressed me. I also love this title (a little older):

A particularly interesting San Francisco band from the New Wave era that unfortunately hasn't been heard much.

 

I saw it on a trans-continental plane while crossing the ocean blue. It's a great movie that makes the gears turn.

 

Back to the 90's....
When rock was trying to reinvent itself.
There were the very well known, sometimes very good, but also the less well known, sometimes also very good...

 

My favorite version of Dittersdorf's 6 ovide symphonies. The finale of symphony no.5 "country people turned into frogs":

 

Paul McCartney wrote it but the Beatles didn't want to do it.

 

NYC's favorite Les Paul slinging, replete, roly-poly and rotund guitar hero and belter playing at Randalls Island, home of the cities most horrible of jails (soon to finally close its barbed wire fences and steel doors.
