Okay so here's an idea. How about we start helping each other or maybe even start selling our services to each other?

 

sounds good, I guess it should work theoretically but in reality most are picky who is to work on ones material, it would demand knowing the level of expertise of the members and most here are pretty anonymous so it looks kind of cumbersome

The most difficult things in making music for me is to make something that dosen't sound like something else.

Yes... For sure... But being truly and fully original is almost impossible in this day and age... Not counting new sounds, everything musical has already been done and published... Even sounds are mostly derivative...

Going beyond this issue... The problem for me... Is to make authentic music for the genre/ style I'm attempting...

I actually name mines as FolkAm or BbmGuitar, etc. The chord and the genre or an instrument. It's easier if it has some lyrics. But in the beginning I have to go on like that.

 

I just saw a Make Drake Beats Tutorials on the other site so I'm a little confused as to why everyone is still having a hard time writing?

Apart from not having enough time to fit it in to each day, you know, with having to make the bills etc, I don't have any problems making music and writing songs.
I've been doing it for so long it's like muscle memory. I know what I want. I know how to get it.

I'm totally happy with my creativity and output.

What about you?
