what are the benefits of acid wav's

    what are the benefits of acid wav's ?? is it better for editing tempo or doing timestretching as normal wav's ?

    with acid wav files you were able to save markers in the files, like "here is the drop".

    i have never used it, but i think there is an advantage when you master something, so you could add some notes as markers to the file.

    It contain tempo and marker info. What benefits? Your daw will calculate loop tempo proper, easy slicing, re-arrangement, and etc. Try to load simple wav loop into the NI Battery, and then "Acidized". U will feel the difference.

    Acid waves are similar to Rex files, in that you can drop them in any daw and they will be tempo matched correctly and automatically.

    If you are a loops user, you should choose them every time over regular wavs. *yes*

    i knew it was something about tempo....thanx one reason ...yes i choose them everytime since i have read somewhere that the wav is processed with sony acid for tempo skalierung kind of but didnt know the proper why lol
