What App Can I Use to Play (test) WAV Files Samples

    I use music software to test WAV Files Samples. Is there an App that is more appropriate for testing the samples before using them in the Daw?

    there are only 2 programs that play wav files.
    1. Winamp
    2.VLC

    Both are free, they are the only programs that play .wav files, but they also play .mp3 and .ape .flac etc.
