True. Another interesting fact is that the female singer, Cynthia Jonson, was replaced in her old band by Morris Day, and the band became The Time. Those 12" were it! Not only did they offer remixes of the original but sounded much better than the albums specially in the lower frequencies as a result of the records grooves. Only downside was that many of those were only available as Promotional copies. You had to be a radio or club DJ in order to get them or pay a fortune. For example, Alicia Bridges' "I love the Nightlife" sold for $100 and Love Unlimited Ochestra "My sweet Summer Suite" ran from $500 to $1000! and we are talking 1976-1978 dollars.Crazy times!
    Sorry for getting off-topic.:mates:
Edit: Fake news! I am not sorry!

Yeah, kind of neverending Rasputin intro...

I remember that at the time I really despised it. Now I find it just boring...

Never heard of The Time, but at least I own the original vinyl of Lipps Inc (it seems to me it was a Q disc - just 4 tracks) and the extended single 12'' of Alicia Bridges - I love the Nightlife.

    Crazy times, but good ones.

Take a look at the music of Giorgio Moroder, it's true in the 70's.

Koto's Visitors was big at school back then. One schoolmate had it on tape, but wasn't willing to share with others..:snuffy:
There was another 80's song I was looking for for a long time. I thought it was by Koto, but no. I just found it a couple years ago.

Wasn't looking for Automatic Lover, but thank you very much posting it! Loved the song back then and still do

    Daft Punk inspiration?
