hey friends, is there anybody else who also got problems with "liquidsofts seventh heaven" (1.3.3R2R)?

since release and till a few hours ago i could use it without any problems (win10/ableton10suite), than i opened a new project and suddenly got the message "plugin could not be found", but i didnt change anything, .dll file is still where it should be and ableton can find it, but if i want to open
rescan dont helps. i will try new installation later, but i think this isnt normal?

It's not a tremolo it's random jumps in volume that isn't consistent.
Let us know if it's also doing it in Ableton.

 

I was probably the first person to bring up the volume spike bug and Yes it does it in Ableton.

It's the first time for me too, and i think the R2RLS7HP.dll would need to be added to the "exclusions" in Defenders settings.
I look at "Windows Security" - "Virus and Threat Protection" - "Current Threats" and i see one threat found this morning.
I look at "Protection History" (3rd down in blue) and see it "Severe", and expand the chevron...

"Status: Quarantined
Threat detected: Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.DF!ml
... etc ....
file: C:\WINDOWS\system32\R2RLS7HP.dll"
----
I chose "Restore". (It restores the file)

Then i go to "Manage settings" & "Add or Remove Exclusions" and browse to the file to add it.

This is the first time i have ever had to exclude anything in Windows folder...
But yes it restores it to working order.

 

Read the comments in the release page on the other site, several people report issues with volume spikes and fluctuations, apparently R2R missed some checks or protections.

I've never used a Mac, but i knw Win10 wants to be the center of attention...
Most plugins do too. Many seem to think they are the ONLY plugins you will install.

Both in fact. And both have their advantages, it's only so much more work to make Win 10 a usable OS again.

I like how you can configure individual items to be enabled, disabled of left untouched.
It can also uninstall the ad virus.
That PowerShell script is very useful if you have to set up more than one machine: Once you have adjusted your favorite barebones Windows, you can run the script on as many machines as you like. Easy and fast.
