    Whats good,
If you just saw my previous post then you now know I typically try and find solutions for myself when it comes to these things, or I find them on these forums etc, but I have come across an issue I have yet to see anyone else have, being that I just contributed a troubleshooting effort to the community to help people out maybe someone could return the favor :)

Long story short, WV30 works great for me, it has since I figured out how to solve the issue I posted about in the other thread, but today I went to install the newest Cubase Elements (God damn you Stienberg....) lol and well this is what happened : I iinstalled the MSI files, EXE blah blah all was well, then (not thinking) I installed the Syncrosoft E-License exe....and yeah nex thing you know I am doing a reboot to only open up both my DAWS to a rescan license message, simple enough right, just uninstall waves, clean the reg, then reinstall, boom should be good. Fuck no. lol. Not only did that god forsaken shit fuck up my waves, it messed up my Kontakt, and a whole other lot of plugins. Those I have already fixed by the typical uninstall / reinstall method, but that doesn't work with waves. I obviously uninstalled PACE, elicenser, and did my best to track down any remnants, but still no luck, NOW when I resinstall waves and get to step 2 (P) the files wont patch so sayeth the desktop log. I obviously uninstalled Waves as well, ran CC cleaner on the reg, deleted files from ProgramData folders, AppData/Roaming etc. Still same result. Any solutions? Please, thank you very much!

I have recently taken another try with Waves V9R30. The factory R30 Installer has some issues
for sure but, can be overcome. I tried installing the single/individual plugins and recieved various
install error messages. In then decided to install with the Soundgrid option. Ran the patch from
the setup folder, not the desktop shortcut using right-click>run as admin...

Note: usung Windiws 7 Ultimate x64

Selected the follwing options ( there is redundancy but worked):
    - All Sound Grid
    - Mercury
    - Abbey Road Collection
    - Dorrough Meters
    - SSL
After installer completely finishes, restart computer.

Now block/disconnect internet, disable anti-virus scanning, right click and run Waves_Patch.exe as admin.
you should get 4 phases of patching.

Perform usual replacement of Waveshells, replace aax versions with ones provided in
Waves R2R Patched AAX for Pro Tools 12.

Run the Waves License Center from the Waves directory, not the shortcut as admin.
Could take a while to load, ignore not responding message if you get it.
Close the connection error window, click the link at the top right 'Local Licenses', under
'View Local Licenes highlight and copy the number below 'Empty Device', run 'Waves_Keygen.exe'
as admin, enter name for device, paste device number and generate license.
Save the license to C:\ProgramData\Waves Audio\Licenses, click 'refresh' in the license center.
You should now see all licenses.

The WaveShell-VST3 9.61_x64.vst3 still does not load for me in Reaper. Had to use the dll
version in it's place. Everything seems to be working in Pro Tools though. Sonar and Cubase
    could be another issue.

    Hope this helps...

I will most deff give this method a try man, hell it cant hurt! The only question I would have I suppose is, don't you have to have the hardware compatibility to run sound grid? Please do correct me if I am wrong. Does Butch Vocals / Codex work well for you? Hey thanks again man I really do appreciate the suggestion!!!

The Studio Rack what I meant...

The WaveShell-VST3 9.61_x64 (.vst3 or .dll) is needed to load the following:
    Butch Vig Vocals
    EMO-D5
    Saphira

I am about to give your method a shot man and just wanted to clarify a couple tings...
    1. - I run the first patch AFTER the installation is done correct? (after computer has been rebooted?)
    2. - As far as the installation... Am I doing this from the typical waves Install, or from the actual Soundgrd/Native install

Thanks again for your help! I sure hope this works!

P.S. what do you mean click the lick??? This part kind of confused me, usually I see the little PC icon guy (after disabling / renabling my network card) and then it shows up with the number. Also, just to clarify if it makes any difference the CPU i am doing this on is 100% offline, has never been online, nor will I ever put it online, for updates etc I used a diff PC and transfer port programs via USB. Thanks again!

As it seems to happen ever since I installed that god damned syncrosoft elicenser (and removed it all the way down to the registry mind you) now the patcher does not work, only a couple things get patched here and there but not 100% like it used to prior to the happening. I tried this using your method (assuming to use the regular V30 install but with the soundgrid / native" option picked. I am going to do a deep uninstall and try with the actual SG install to see if that matters.

I meant 'link'.. I know that's what I typed because I saw it. Corrected now.
Yeah, a thorough cleaning of Pace/iLok files and folders. Also the reg right?

I tried to install the ilok driver to install Pro Tools trial without any luck. Avid was no help at all.
Heard from 5 different support people that kept asking me questions after I had completely laid
out step-by-step what I did and, how I could not get pass stage three of their web verification.

It seems that in their need to lock-down the software they have locked out potential customers.

Avoid any warez like Steinberg that require you install a non-cracked ilok/e-licenser setup.

UPDATE : Did a full OS reinstall.... Waves patching STILL not working. Log file = NOT PATCHED. I don't know what to do, I wouldn't think it would be related to the Elicenser since I did a clean install but FUCK. I don't know, I still tried doing the license, and of course when i hit refresh notihing shows up in Waves Center. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP? Much love. Thanks.
