Originally released back in 2012, Wavesfactory's Marxophone for Kontakt has just been added a bunch of new features.

This marxophone library now features denoised samples, new GUI and script to control each articulation, Rack Effects DSP script added and other improvements such as disk/RAM usage.

The Marxophone is a fretless zither that has four sets of chord strings to be strummed with the left hand and two octaves of double melody strings, which are struck by metal hammers activated by the right hand.
The hammers are mounted on spring steel and produce a mandolin-like sound from repeated bouncing on the strings, hence the name mandolin-guitar-zither sometimes applied to the Marxophone. The sound of the Marxophone is also reminiscent of the various types of hammered dulcimer in music traditions world-wide.

With our Marxophone we sampled all major and minor chords and all chromatic notes, so you are not tied to play in ā€œCā€, you can play on each tonality.
Played by the built-in metal hammer and springs, pick and fingers, controllable via the new GUI/script. Sampled with 4 velocity layers and 4 round robin, included the release noises.

On the left section of the GUI you can apply low pass and high pass filters, control the width from stereo to mono to reversed stereo and set the number of round robin repetitions.
On the center panel you can purge/load and set the volume of each articulation.
On the right section you can control the volume of the release samples, set an start offset in milliseconds, control the velocity curve and the dynamic range.

In this update we have denoised the samples, introduced new features, new graphics and improved the overall quality of the library.
Rack Effects script included with 12 DSP effects including convolution with 30 impulses.
