    Wow,
All these updates, hundreds of plug-ins, tons of formats, standards, platforms,
Waves must have hired some hundreds of cheap Gaza Palestinians. When someone is responsible of 3 bugs, he gets some gaz treatment. At 5 bugs, it's a head shot. Result: above 1000 different plug-ins, 1 million parameters, dozens millions lines of code, and almost 0 bugs.

Wow, it's easy to imagine, the R2R guys, using these latest versions no one else has, for creating Grammy songs, triple AAA movie scores, and top 10 billboard hits.
No, actually, they use all these unreleased apps and all their talent, for creating those impressive tunes that come with their installers.
Talent is talent. With those apps they keep for themselves, the world should see a significant rise of the Japanese music these next months/years, as they possess new powerful tools no one else has, and therefore, few will be able to match what can be done with those new tools.
Poor artists from outside Japan, without the new technology, we are screwed.

wow didn't know all the R2R guys were Japanese, ehhmm except most Japanese music I have heard is pretty much for crap
( except maybe Shonen Knife )

hey !! maybe audioz should hire TeAm GaZa , would probably be affordable...

They should just market it as "Waves World," because the plug-ins collection requires total immersion just to discern which are right for one's production style, let alone to learn how they work.

Well Artic.. you know i have another opinion about most waves stuff. espacially these one that are not "hyped". there re many great "working horse" plugin in there that in my point of view are only be beaten by UAD&Sonnox (eq whise maybe Fabfilter). but for the new Cobalt Saphira in special.. you are damn right this time :( at least when it´s been taken as that it´s promoted.. but for sounds design it can be great i guess..

    cheers

some plugin companies give you bundles that cover almost everything with 6 effects... waves offers you like 2 million... i know some are good, but i don't want to get involved

You can install a single plugin if you like it, you are not compelled to have everything. Why not just go with the useful ones?
