Sorry everyone ... I understood the problem :-|

In this versione I can see all version of each plug-in I mean m, m->s and s even if I'm on mono audio track.
So If I try to open plug-in the result is this (black plug-in)
On the other version I see only [m] if the channel is mono, and if the channel is stereo as Stereo Out

After doing it for like 10 times it worked, but now they only show up on my protools as demos, what did i do wrong? any help please. Ive been struggling with this forever, about to destroy my mac lol


Edit: Guys i finally got it to work!.....
my specs (just in case someone goes through this, there is a light after the tunnel lol)
M1 on Latest Ventura
Waves ultimate 14 RET working on Ableton and Protools

Hi, I have the same problem. I installed wave central, but this location /Library/Application Support/Waves does not appear, only /Library/Application Support/Waves Audio and /Library/Application Support/Waves Central appear.

Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong? Thank you.

Do I unarchive them one by one or how?

I have followed every steps from RET, but I got problems in the DAW. When I open plugin, waves' plugin said License Error and when I hit rescan, it still persisted. I'm using M1 Max Sonoma with Ableton Live 12, If anyone has solution, please help me!

For Mac install, that error may be caused by the installation folder not being placed in the Public folder. Try placing the “Data”folder and “install.cen” file in the Public folder: /Users/username/Public

Did you run the Waves AU Reg Utility 14? found here: /Applications/Waves/WaveShells V14/Waves AU Reg Utility 14.app then restart mac..

 

Your device ID can be found here: /Library/Application Support/Waves/Licenses/LastAcceptableMACAddress.txt Copy mac address from there to create your .WLE file and place into that folder.

 

Double click on one with Keka and it should extract..

 

There are two “Library” folders on Mac, it looks like you are in the system “Library Folder” go here instead: Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Waves

 

Right click the WavesLicenseEngine.bundle and show package contents, navigate the folder now..

Yes I already did. It gives me the same License error message

EDIT"" I did a clean reinstall and it worked! Be sure to delete all the left over before trying a clean re-install. BE SURE TO BE "OFFLINE" at all time even after the last step where you run WAVEs AU Ref Utility and run your DAW. Be offline until you can open the plugin and it works.

there are a few steps you took out that will keep people stuck in steps 4 &5, if you dont remove previous versions and other steps the installer will fail, your better off installing from the net

 

my guide:

1. Remove all waves:

Delete the Waves folder located at Macintosh HD > Applications.

Delete the Waves Preferences folder located at Macintosh HD > Users > Your User > Library > Preferences.

Delete any Waveshells from the following locations:

Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > Digidesign > Plug-Ins
Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > Components
Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > MAS
Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > VST
Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > WPAPI

Empty Trash.

Reboot.


2. Only download “Patched & Keygen Only-RET

3. Install waves central straight of official website

4 .Login or create user

5. Go to settings in waves and Change default license to Macintosh HD & fix permission and ownership

6. Install what plugins you want (I installed waves ultimate. Change sample library folder to your SSD Drive in settings before download to save space)

7. Quit waves central and turn internet OFF

8. Replace "WavesLicenseEngine" in /Library/Application/Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle/ Contents/MacOS/


9. Terminal commands separately

sudo chmod +x /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle/Contents/MacOS/WavesLicenseEngine

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle/Contents/MacOS/WavesLicenseEngine

xattr -cr /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle



10. Replace "index.js" in /Library/Application Support/Waves/COSMOS/HTML/

11. Replace "app.asar" in /Applications/Waves/COSMOS/COSMOS.app/Contents/Resources/

12. Run waves keygen on a windows pc or with crossover on Mac. Create license with Device Name and ID as shown in Waves Central Licenses tab. Type: comp

13. Drop the .WLE generated license file here: Library>Application Support>Waves> Licenses

14. Reboot again

15. Run waves au reg utility in Application/Waves/WavesShells v15

16. Open logic and let them scan!

17. IMPORTANT: Disable waves startup items and probably don’t need waves central anymore
