Hey guys - new here :)

Im trying to install V13 with no luck on the M1 and Monterey. Anyone get it working? Maybe I have the wrong R2R patch. Also, can someone DM me the sister site?

    Thanks X1000000!

If I'm not mistaken, there is no M1 patch. Intel only, so you need to open your DAW in Rosetta mode only for now

If you mean the native SSL then it's not the same consoles emulated. SSL native emulates a 9000K from 2002 meanwhile this new Waves (and the old one) is emulating a 1980's 4000E console

i've seen many users struggle to make waves v13 patch to work on mac(specially ARM). so for anyone who seek some help i'll post it here too.

1.if you have already installed waves go to central and perform a complete waves cleanup.

2.delete all waves folders in following locations (if available).

    Library>Application Support>Waves(unhidden)
Library>Audio>Plugins>WPAPI(sometimes this thing is left after uninstall)
    ~Libarary>Application Support>Waves Audio and Waves Central(hidden)
    Macintosh HD>Users>Shared>Waves

*Also make sure that all vst/vst3/au/aax waveshell plugins are removed.

3.download latest waves v13 release by ret.

    4.extract and install waves central.

5.perform an offline installation by choosing plugins you like to install.

    6.replace WavesLicenseEngine.bundle in Library>Application Support>Waves>Modules

7.open terminal and paste following commands,

    xattr -cr /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle

8.run waves keygen on a windows pc or with crossover.

9.find your computer id on waves central licenses tab, enter exact id to keygen and generate license file.

    10.copy license file to Library>Application Support>Waves>Licenses

11.restart your mac first and run waves au reg utility and click let's go, it will identify your plugins.

12.open your daw it will automatically scan plugins, if not rescan plugins manually.

tested on macos monterey, logic pro 10.7 M1(apple silicon Native)

Edit: if you experience slow loading times and laggy experience after installation please remove WavesLocalServer.bundle file from following directory.

    Library>Application Support>Waves>WavesLocalServer

I read this post yesterday & downloaded & just installed it. Followed all instructions to th letter.
The plugins load up faster, but yet there is still no GUI. I installed Waves version 12 because I'm using High Sierra 10.13.6 on a MacBook Pro 17" Mid 2010....
So why is there no GUI? Someone please help. I just moved back to Mac & I'm in love with my computer again!

You need a metal compatible gpu to run waves v12 or higher versions. see supported models here:https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205073
only v11 is supported on your device:sad:.

Wait, so does this method allow you to pick-and-choose which Waves plugins you have installed?

I've been wanting to cut down the ones I don't use.

in the vstplugins\waves folder are some waveshell.dll files if you have the old shellvst from r2r just drag the dll files over shellvst then it will extract all plugins in your folder after that you can remove the ones you dont need

Better yet, just download the r2r patch and download the latest Waves Central from waves themselves, log in and choose whatever plugin you want without downloading the complete 6GB from the sister etc

I tried waves 13, once with V.R Patch and once with R2R emulator(after central uninstalling) and they did not work (the cubase/win10 crashed). So I went back to waves 12
