*Install Waves Central from the main Waves website- install your desired plugins- replace the Waves file with the R2R emulator*

This works for me- after the installation, all the plugins are there and registered, however as soon as I open Waves central again to install some more plugins, the plugins I just installed disappear. It seems like when I open Waves Central for the 2nd time, it figures out what products I havent paid for and make them unavailable.

I have deleted Waves central so I dont accidentally open it and lose my plugins again, but it would be nice have it there so that anytime I want a new one I can open it up and install.

Is there something im missing?

 

it will be replaced whenever you install or update with a new one.. because the majority / most of waves plugin is using shell vst.. it all bundles up in one dll.. so what u need to do is to repeat the method... just replace the new waves files with the emulator...

 

I tried that and it didnt let me because the file was open in another program (folders) if i remember correctly

 

You have to close all waves programs from the task manager,otherwise it won t let you replace the dll
