Hi guys!
I got this error now. The latest two R2R releases. I guess the issue is on the Windows 10 itself not the waves releases but I don't know how to fix it. I have tried a clean install of Visual Studio from 2015-2022 but it didn't fix the issue.
I did a fresh windows install too and the all my plugs and daws.
I need to reinstall the waves package all the time to run the plugs properly then after a couple of days the error shows up again.
Missing ordinal number 380...I got this in PT and Reaper.

SFC /scannow
- Press the Windows + X key combination on the desktop.
- Select Command Prompt (Admin)from the menu
- In the prompt window, type SFC /scannow and press Enter.

No Waves central here, Beat16. I use R2R version for about 10 years now. This is the first time I got this error.
This waves version you told is the exact version I got this error now, the latest package from R2R.
I have tried to uninstall it too as I said...even the entire system, window, plugs, daws...

Can you install a V.R Version? And post the Error Message in English.

 

The error is Ordinal Number 380 cannot be located in dynamic library.
I've nerver had this problem ultill now. I did a clean install for the entire system and it still here.
I google it...there are many similar errors out there to many diferents apps. Same 380 number...you find it for games as well.

It seems to be related to the waves virtual instruments libraries. Every time I try to load each of them the error window shows up in Reaper and PT.
If the folder name is wrong how do I fix it? I install all the packages on the default path...always did that.

 

Have you download the content of waves virtual instruments libraries , there not included in the installer ?

 

You would first have to look carefully if the folder has a wrong name. Please copy the folder name exactly and write it here.

This is what it looks like for me.

I use an administrator account all the time. So it seems to be correct:
C:\Users\Administrador\AppData\Local\Temp

I have found in this path a folder named 3582-490 and inside it an exe file named Waveslocalserver.

When I try to load any Waves stand alone instrument the same error shows up. So it is really about the library location. Waves setup is asking for the path all the time.

Get the latest release from certain famous rusky tracker. Waves 14 NO INSTALL R2R. Using it since launch (about a week ago) and works flawlessly.

 

After trying ALL of what you've done and still without success I would be inclined to go back to the last working version.

The last one has the mix knob for all the nice compressors I like from Waves...that's why I would like to keep it.
I can load my sessions, anyways. But I have this boring error window all the time I run the DAW.

Most of them I already did..Reinstall all things, disk clean up, search disk errors using cclean, drivers updates just after a clean windows install...I never have another app running when my Daw is open. No antivirus app here and windows defender is off.
I mean this error started even when I had installed the previous Waves R2R package. The last one has the same issue but I guess this is a windows related problem.
The tool called Restoro on the link you sent me I tried too but is a paid tool. I cannot use it for free.
I will keep trying...

Q:
When im running applications, copy of these applications are putting into Temp folder.

in folder 3582-490. is this normal? i havent seen such thing before. and if i block this folder, applications stop working, they just not running. this is bug or my windows got virus?
