    Hi
I'm fortunate enough to have a very stable DAW solution but the only one vst i'm unable to load into my cubase 7.5 is Waves Element synth. It loads perfectly as a standalone but not as a plugin...
    Any idea?
    thx guys

Vst2 version crash on startup in Studio One, vst3 version works like a charm

i finally found a work around by disabling the vst3 waveshell...renaming it...
the 64 bits vst2 then loads perfectly...
    weird :dunno:

i did not pay attention to that at first...but for me it's vst3 that crashes and vst2 that loads fine...

But then you loose all Waves Vst3:s if you rename the waveshell well i dont know if vst3 is so much better then vst2 anyway.

Well, to my hears, to be honest...no difference whatsoever on other plugins... i think the main differences are routing issues.
I do not use waves plugins a lot as i've switched to UAD 5 year ago but the synth is fabulous and as UAD makes no synth :(
