First of all, are you able to run the R2R keygen (is for Windows only) in your Mac?

It doesn't seem so. You need to learn the basics of Parallels (Windows "emulator" in Mac)

 

I’ve run the keygen. Generated the file. Followed the instructions. It’s still on demo. Next, I’ve got to learn Windows emulator, please help with more info on that.

There's no need for learning windows emulators. If you have already generated a license just follow the steps I mentioned earlier in thread. Make sure to put the cure inside the .bundle file & not replace the bundle file.

Hey there, where can i find the "Generate License R2R from Last_Used_Address -- Patch the License & Bundle" in step 2?
I'm a bit of a noob with all the other stuff mentioned from 4 onwards..
Also is this for windows or mac as i'm after mac,

Instructions for releases with patched binaries never mention one important action - fixing access rights.
I prefer to use this command (you can simply drag file into the terminal window):

Also, for Macs with M processors, it is recommended to generate the license file not using Windows emulators, but on a computer with Windows.

 

I'm certainly not arguing with you Talula on that, .... interesting.. I haven't come across that advice yet, but will absolutely log as relevant.

Given your higher skillset and knowledge, do you have any insight as to why that is?

I personally haven't had any problems yet with m3/Sonoma and keygens from R2R or whatnot running Whisky/Wine... but that's good to know to look out for. thanks.

i’m following aswell. I’ve been busy all day to get the demo version gone but it won’t work. I did everything even the codesign but non works.

i downloaded waves central from the website (15.0.2) and in there i downloaded v15 essensial. I checked my ret bundle patch and it matches with the one i had. (I replaced it inside the bundle) then went to my windows pc to generate a wle file and placed it in licence. It still cames out as a demo. Who can help me it is driving me nuts

After you replace the contents of the " Waves License engine " bundle you must codesign it.
My Waves would not work until i did it.

 

I got everything working on Sonoma was a Mac M3. I want to unistall soundgrid studio, because its always opening. Do you think that will mess anything up or should I be good to do it?

 

I never kept any of that stuff and never had a problem. Worst case scenario, you could always just put them back using Waves Central. Best case scenario, you could get rid of Waves completely.

 

I had the same issue...you NEED to disable SIP. Without disable only shows in demo mode
(https://developer.apple.com/documen...ling_and_enabling_system_integrity_protection)

After that install it from scratch.

I've never seen anyone mention this, and people would certainly complain about it. I looked up this release on sister site, and there are no comments at all about disabling SIP. People did have little issues with this release, like every Waves version. The instructions are never perfectly written and people have problems with Waves more than any other plugin installation.

I am wondering why the OP would even use an older version such as this, on Apple Silicon. The particular build mentioned is 6 months old.

If you think this is incorrect, re-enable SIP and see if they still work.
