Hello everyone!

so.. this is my first post in any forum ever.. and i guess some of you may think its a stupid question or its stupid to ask it cause its already answered somewhere. im sorry

but: i downloaded and installed waves complete 9.6 for mac on my macbook running el capitan today, or at least the abbey road and ssl bundles.. it took me a while but now its installed.

but now: in the read me document it says:
3. Open /Waves Complete 9.6/Patch/ and drag “WavesLicenseEngine.bundle” to the “Modules” folder to replace the original engine with the k’ed one.

THAT simply doesn't work. im not able to drag the file to the Modules folder which i put on the desktop as its a alias and the computer doesn't find the target..

im sure its a stupid question.. but you know i used to be a musician

If I'm understanding you. You dragged the "Modules" folder to the desktop? Why?
Put the folder back in Application Support/Waves.
Then drag the Waves License Engine Bundle in the Modules folder. There's already one there so It should ask for replacement so do it.
Don't use an alias.
