I have Installed every version that has ever come out until now.
I have an M1 with Monterey 12.6.
I deselected all Waves 13 plugs.
Every Waves remnant has been removed from everywhere as I have done this many times.
Other M1 users on the sister site have managed to install it.
Some M1 users have had No success.
Has anyone with M1 12.6 got it to install?

 

Here's the step I used to get it installed on my m1max mbp, I took these from another use who posted the steps in the comment of the waves release.

1. Download this latest waves v14 release by RET.

2. Extract and install waves central.

3. Perform an offline installation by choosing plugins you like to install or install all online

4. Replace WavesLicenseEngine.bundle in Library>Application Support>Waves>Modules

5. Replace "index.js" in
/Library/Application Support/Waves/COSMOS/HTML/

6. Replace "app.asar" in
/Applications/Waves/COSMOS/COSMOS.app/Contents/Resources/

7. Open terminal and paste following commands:
xattr -cr /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle

8. Run waves keygen on a windows pc or with crossover on M1 macs.

9. Find your computer id on waves central licenses tab, enter exact id to keygen and generate license file.
You can also find ID on Library>Application Support>Waves>Licenses>LastAcceptableMACAddress

10. Copy license file to Library>Application Support>Waves>Licenses

11. RESTART your mac FIRST and run waves au reg utility 14 and click let's go, it will identify your plugins.

12. Open your daw it will automatically scan plugins, if not rescan plugins manually.

 

No that doesn't work. I had to download today's Waves from the sister site and that works perfectly.

Did you get COSMOS working? I did all those steps the other day, but still couldn't get COSMOS working. It spins for a bit then says, "Oops, something went wrong"

 

If you want to install all the bundles, try installing: Mercury Bundle, SSL Bundle and Abbey Roads Bundle only. Do not select the individual plugins as this causes issues for some people.

Sorry, for the delay. I used the sister site Waves 9/12/2022 patch only on the 9/21/2022 Waves installer.
Follow the guys instructions on the 9/12/2022 and use all the stuff included to patch the 9/21/2022 install.
Works perfect and yes Cosmos works as well.

 

that's a common problem with Waves for a long time, unrelated to cracks/keygens,
you need specific (latest) Waves Central to install matching (latest) plugins

 

Found solution for stuck on copying:
Run Waves central from terminal as root:
sudo /Applications/Waves\ Central.app/Contents/MacOS/Waves\ Central

I managed to get them to install by running a 05/xx/23 release. But the key gen isn’t there. When I use the gen from 01/17/23 the Waves plug-ins are still in demo mode in Ableton.

What release date works with the latest macOS update on M1 chip?

Also, do I need to do anything with the Data folder that’s in the same directory as the waves central installer and offline installer?
