Waves 11 plugins Not showing up In Live 10.1.14

    Hello guys

    need help to figure out why waves not showing in live , as you can see in the attachment when i drops a plugins to the right in Ableton im getting this error message , when i drops it to the bottom of the channel where all the fx go noting happen , not even error message !!!
    this is happen in my studio desktop where the hardware
    is a little bit old-i7-2600k/z68x-ud3h-b3/intelHd3000 , but i was never have any problem with any other plugins/vst on this desktop !! i did try it with windows Ltsb , Ltsc , and pro and still the same , i also been try it with different version of ableton - 10.1.0 / 10.1.3 / 10.1.6 and still the same , it only happen with waves plugin !!

    when i try it on my new laptop i7-9750H / NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti Everything work Perfect !!

    i did also try it with both Vst3 and Vst2 on my desktop and still the same !!!

    is anyone know what can be the problem here and can help please ?

    try with another DAW on the desktop and see if the same thing happens

    Myself I am using VST2 dll: WaveShell1-VST 11.0_x64. Place them in the vst directory and try again. Of course you have to rescan vst directory after placing the dll file.

    i just try with studio one and it the same !!! i also just install fabFilter and it work just fine !!
    I'm thinking maybe it need to do with my old video card -intel hd3000 and waves but im not sure.....
    i will try now with old waves , like version 9 or 8 and see if it work .
    this is so wired !!!

    its the same with vst2.. i try rescan , i try Alt + rescan , try with diffrent folder and nothing..
    i can see all of them in Ableton but they do not open when i drag them to ableton..

    Okay then you know it's related to the Waves plugins and not the DAW. And yes a very old graphic card could probably cause issues like that

    Apparently the wrapper has dropped support for VST2 and now only supports VST3. Uninstall VST2 and try installing the VST3 components only as there might be some confliction.

    thanks all for trying to help !!

    i found the problem after 2 days of trail & error and so much time .
    this 2 drivers need to be install on the computer
    microsoft visual c++ 2012 redistributable
    microsoft visual c++ 2015-2019 redistributable

    at list on my system , maybe with new system you only need the more update one .
    hope that help to the people that have this issue.

    you had Window 7? I took for granted that you had Windows 10

    was on windows LTSB And just change to LTSC .
