Like the title says... I've installed Waves 10 29.7.2019 bundle... including Abbey Roads Studio 3 on my Mac Pro2,1 (OSX 10.11.6, the highest it'll go). Unfortunately, every time I launch a DAW (D.Performer 10.01, Ableton Live 10.11 and Presonus Studio 4.5.1... Abbey Roads Studio comes up saying there is no license file. All other plugs pass with no problem. I've installed it several times... using the R2R kg and patch..and also tried imac-rusians patch... but no luck. I also tried Batchmod and Permissions Repair... still no luck. I did get success on a 2012 11" Macbook Air (10.14) and a 2011 17" Macbook Pro. Anyone know what gives?

Not a solution, a recommendation. Audioease Altiverb or Eventide Tverb. Much better options without the hassles of Waves.
Have not used Waves products for quite some time. Not missing anything personally.

 

Don't know about Mac unfortunately (disclaimer) but I've solved similar issues by running the V.R patcher, which appears to be capable of fixing an R2R install, as well. Again, that's Windows though.

I was just wondering if there was some kind of issue with this anyone else has encountered. Thanks for the suggestions, though. I certainly do not use all those Waves plugs... but I do use ones outside of their ‘verbs

 

Similar issues with other plugins since Waves 9. Abbey Roads Mastering, Scheps Omni Channel, latest CLA channel strip, etc...
