Wavelab 7.1.1.550 runs without licence?

    Hi folks,

    I have the official Cubase Pro 9.5, and today i downloaded the old Wavelab 7.1.1.550 from Steinberg's ftp server and it seems running 100% without a license.
    Does Wavelab needs a license? Or does it comes because i have Cubase Pro 9.5?
    Also need to mention that i ones tryed the Wavelab LE7 demo, as i can see in the eLicenser.
    Any thoughts why it runs here?
