Dualism by dmg has a very nice oscilloscope, highly configurable. It also has every other visualization tools...

On that subject I have just realized that the track meter plugin (which I just ended up buying) that has just been released by dmg has every visualisation features of dualism (tuner, oscilloscope, fft analyser, 1/N octave, phase meter, rms analizer, loudness meter, loudness history, lissajous, 2D and 3D spectograph !) but without the meters that you see on the left side of the screenshot that I took of dualism, and part of those meters and features (stereo, trimming, etc features) are available on track control which is free if you already have a plug from dmg. The difference between track control + track meter and dualism is that dualism offers the two screens in one plug option, the meters in the same plug and you can route other tracks that have dualism on it to compare sources (which indeed is handy but not indispensable) and a little less tweaks but it cost more then 200 $ (170£) when Track meter UI is fully resizable (not dualism because of the split dual screen although both have fullscreen option), it's much lighter and it cost only 40$ (33£), with track meter free.

Grab the latest version, there were 2 updates this year since old 2004 or 2003. Now it is 64 bit for vst 2 and Vst 3 as well, and there were updated engine, other improvements and fixes. See changelog text file packed in archive with plugin. Graphic interface is still as it was.

Now they are working on brand new s(m)asterscope.

Every time I read someone lamenting the fact that a plugin he likes only works in 32 or 64, I'm reminded why I like Reaper so much.

Don't worry popstarkiller, even if reaper will be ideal superDAW, and if cubase and protools will be total buggy and shitty, all pro guys will say cubase and protools are better than all DAWs altogether. It's like rotten Apple, etc

    WHAT!!!???

Thank you so much brother!!... I have been using 32-Lives for Smexo for years now... and what sucks, is that every couple months maybe 32-Lives "wants to be reinstalled"... if you "get my meaning" ;)

I have smexo on my master at all times, and I check it quite often... furthermore, when I work on the rumbly dark techno basses, where I will kind of meld the kick to them, I have smexo open basically the entire time... so I use it soooo much.

To not have o worry about playing with 32-lives is AMAZING!!!!

I cant believe how this helps me.

yeah wow... one thing for me, every time I opened Ableton... the first time I popup the smexo gui, I'd have to wait anywhere between 20 seconds to up to a minute... sometimes a bit more. Never sure why it was that way, but I expect it's a 32-lives thing.

Pops right open now... with the 64-bit.

    so happy
