Thanks for posting this. It is a nice sounding free reverb, without any iLok or other "additional software" downloads.

i truly love wave alchemy. Triaz is a hidden gem. Excellent randomization engine, great sounds, fast, easy to use with immediate results, or highly tweakable. Their three reverb plugins are excellent (four now including this freebie). All of them just sound good. Nothing fancy, yet very versatile, easily some of my favorite verbs. I havent tried their new tape plugin, but id be willing to bet its also great. Their sample packs are also awesome lol. Ive pretty much bought their entire catalog over the years. They have really good sales too, so keep an eye out.

Interesting claims user 'noisia' has made about this reverb and the other Wave Alchemy reverbs:
    and
I haven't noticed in using them, but mainly I've just used Glow on kicks, snares, and toms so that'd explain that. A little bummed if true, might do some testing and see so myself

i just tested, and it couldnt be further from the truth lol. hard pan, mix knob to zero, pan is kept, its not summed to mono at all. 100% wet, moving the panning around, and it behaves as its supposed to.

Haha! Good! I looked at some youtube vids of people demoing them and didn't hear it. I was thinking 'fuck it, I'll just run two instances for L and R if so' bc I like them. Thanks for checking.

This one has ducking, Seventh Heaven Pro doesn't (well at least the version I'm using).
If this is good at the presets it has I'd prefer it over seventh heaven. Anyone compared yet?

Love Triaz, I also have a copy of Revolution. Awesome drum libraries.

I don't have a copy of Seventh Heaven Pro, but the most recent version has ducking.

That being said, I used the small ambience preset on a current mix by bussing all the tracks to Magic7, sounds great. Was using a free IR pack from Acoustica before this, along with Spaces by AITB.

AITB Spaces is killer, maybe I'll grab the rest of E.A.R. pack some day. The Acoustica IRs worked great in a pinch.

It's hard to complain with this free entry to the Bricasti. If you had no reverbs in your arsenal, this is a no brainer.

Is this IR + modulation or algo?

EDIT: Probably based on IR!!! The "Magic7,VST3" is 34,5 MB great.

Comparing to other free downloads of Bricasti M7 the download size of this "thing" is very small. I guess there is only a small selections of the sounds from the real deal. Unless of course IR's are downloaded during installation. However the idea of a dedicated M7 plug-in is very welcome. As for true stereo? Who knows. If it sounds good it is good

I'm assuming that @xorome was referring to plugin. I remember reading that the previous Wave Alchemy reverbs are based on IRs with algorithmic modulation / ducking, as you rightly say. I'm guess that this is also true for Magic7

If you need more IR you can download the package for free here.

Samplicity - Bricasti IRs version 2023-10 - Free Download

Samplicity’s highly acclaimed and free impulse responses from the Bricasti M7 reverb unit:

Samplicity – Bricasti IRs version 2023-10.zip (964 Mb)

The 2023-10 version contains fixes and is the result from re-processing, resulting in even better SNRs and frequency responses.
These IR files are different from the content in current and upcoming Samplicity plugins.

Formats: True Stereo IR files in quad channel and double stereo Wave files, in 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz
These files can be used in convolution plugins that can read IR files in Wave format, for instance
Apple Space Designer, Steinberg REVerence, LiquidSonics Reverberate and Audioease Altiverb.

What a pity that this plug-in does not read IRs. :snuffy:

It has thus preluded a place for itself in the future...

I haven't used an M7 or any of it's clones, so I wouldn't know how accurate emulation this one is, but that said, I think this is a great freebie all in itself.

Simple to operate and the dynamics functions (duck/smooth) help sculpting the tail to my needs. Also it can tempo-sync the predelay which is handy for some drum tracks, especially if I'm otherwise already shaping the reverb tails with processing.

I'd say 0 euros well spent!

Pro-R2 can not really load IRs. It can import IR and then tries to create a similar sounding reverb algorithmically using the onboard parameters. When I tried it using an IR of a real room it sounded horrible. Maybe the results are better when you use an IR of a digital reverb as opposed to a real ambience IR of a room, but from my experience I cannot recommend it, unless you like synthetic sounding reverb.
