Moin, warum gibt es keine Releases mehr von R2R? Haben die sich aufgelöst?

 

ich glaube nicht dass sie sich aufgelöst haben ... vielleicht erholen sie sich noch von BIG WAVE

 

Mh, die letzten Releases sind von April, da mach ich mir noch keine Sorgen. Vielleicht liegen die einfach am Strand? Gönnen tu ich es ihnen.

 

They gifted us with so many incredible releases from just before Christmas and through the New year, that they probably now have to work on replenishing their catalog with new releases and checking for compatibility issues with Windows 11.

 

R2R kann leider nichts mehr releasen, da ihr letztes Release die Nummer 9999 hatte. Gemäß der Regeln der Warezszene dürfen die Dateinamen nur 8+3 Zeichen haben (8 Zeichen für den Dateinamen und 3 für die Endung) und da ihre Nomenklatur immer r2r-xxxx.rar war, ist ein r2r-10000.rar nicht möglich, weil das dann 9+3 wären.

 

Oh My God please Please PLEASE say that isn't so. I love Love LOVE R2R releases. I guess that's why I'm still waiting on Studio One 5.3.
A world without R2R would be like living in a post apocalyptic world. Oh damn now I'm thirsty!

 

To be honest..I have no idea. Although the nomenclature thing is true, it was more meant as a joke.

 

Ich wüsste momentan gar nicht, was ich noch zwingend gerne haben wollen würde.
Studio One jedenfalls nicht, da habe ich das Sphere Abo, einfach mal ganz legal und günstig.
Ich empfehle auch die Sucht nach ständig Neuem zu überwinden und dafür Musik zu machen mit all den bereits zahlreich vorhandenen Sachen. Eigentlich reicht das Alles für die nächsten 20+ Jahre.
Ich bin R2R dankbar, aber wenn sie in Ruhestand gehen wollen würden, hätten sie es sich mehr als verdient

Ruhestand ist gut- wovon lebt R2R überhaupt. Haben die überhaupt Rentenversicherungsbeiträge einbezahlt ? Vielleicht ist Ihr Sponsor nicht mehr da und R2R arbeitet jetzt wie jeder andere auch. Gut möglich das Sie auch mal selber Musik machen wollen und anders leben wollen. Anders gesagt irgendwann möchte man auch mal was anderes machen. Übrigens auch R2R altert und mit dem Alter wird es nicht einfacher.

Mal ganz davon abgesehen, dass Releases sowieso nur ein Abfallprodukt sind.
Diese Gruppen cracken ja nicht für die User, sondern um den Firmen zu zeigen, dass sie es können.
Dass diese gecrackte Software dann publik gemacht wird, ist für die Cracker absolute Nebensache.
Gibt eine Menge Software die längst geknackt ist, aber nicht veröffentlicht.
Mit viel Glück sehen wir diese dann eventuell auch in einem gewaltigen Weihnachtspaket ;)

Cracking software is an addiction, as well as being the best in the World. If they show signs of renouncing that, that must be a serious thing.

unfortunately for you there will be no more release, R2R did enough.

R2R is disband, finished, retire call it what you will.

I think it is not a numbering problem or 8+3 scene issue .. they could use the alphanumeric system r2r-axxx.xxx (ex: r2r-a000.rar = 10000) where the letter indicates the tens and theoretically have +26999 releases .. the problem is that they are gone or not they want to share what they have given us up to now without ever asking for a penny .. but this is another funny story

 

They do not owe anyone a thing and we can not know what, if anything, is going on.

They have lives and familys just like us, and I would have thought that Covid 19, which still a worldwide pandenic, has affected what they do.
Of course this is just a guess and as I said none of us knows or has the right to know.

We do not have the right to expect a new release from them... ever!

And if one does, or does not happen, we should be massively grateful for all that they have done.

 

So after all the complex barriers R2R has managed to break.. there's a new conspiracy going around (as usual) that R2R is stumped by some 8 character file naming rule? A rumor they're all the sudden stuck on how to get past "r2r-9999.rar"?

What's wrong with "r2r10000.rar"? Then 89,999 releases later someone can cook up another conspiracy.

As long as people keep asking unnecessary questions.. people will keep providing rumors for answers.. until r2r releases something and those same people switch back to their "OMFG " ass kissing again.
