    Hi me too using Blo x as editor, I've tried a lot of them, Blo x does a very nice job!

    Try with an external editor evrything is much better.

    largo was already marketed as a plugin built from the blofeld, and the main difference was just the filter. I'm happy they made a better version but it does feel like double dipping to me still

    Could be that they, waldorf. were afraid that "the usual suspects", who make the dsp emulator (virus etc) would go for a blofeld emulator in the near future. Now they can't anymore I guess since it is now current again. Or they recognized the demand for true emulations because of them. Just a guess

    Why would Waldorf care what developers emulate? It's their hardware and "Blofeld" is their registered trademark. They can do whatever they want with it. Being a "current product" does not really matter either. As long as they keep their trademark maintained (by paying for renewals), it's their trademark wether they make anything currently or not. They released Largo in 2009.
