Hi guys, Ive just moved over to Cubase 14 from ableton so just sorting out my VST collection.

Ive been editing the names of vst3 plugins using the vst3plugins.xml file and becuase i hate them not being uniform names.

Everything been going great untill i get to waves vst's. There wrapped up in the waveshells so the individual plugins arnt being picked up by the xml file im editing.

Does anybody know where cubase is getting the name info for the plugins or is there an xml file somewhere thats giving cubase the name that i can edit? Not sure how to rename these or even if they can be renamed.

I wish cubase would put in alias or AKA tag in the plugin manager so i didnt have to do this. This is the only thing now im missing from cubase then for me its the perfect DAW.

    Thanks if anybody can help.
