I have just tried VirSyn Tera 3 VST2 x64 in Ableton 12 and this plugin steals focus. I can’t use Ableton shortcuts or use a computer keyboard in MIIDI Mapping mode when the plugin’s window is active, when I am inside the plugin tweaking the parameters. The plugin is not responding to keyboard input.

I have tried to use options.txt file with a command _EnsureKeyMessagesForPlugin but it is not helping.

I had this problem with few plugins in previous versions of Ableton but don’t remember them now.

Do you encounter such a problem as well? Do you have any solution?

 

Hello @nmkeraj, try using "Blue Cat Patchwork". Unfortunately, Tera 3 is not available as a VST3.
Use a MIDI keyboard controller!
