VST loads, samples not connecting

    Hello, I'm new.
    I'm Bird.
    Nice to meet you.

    I have Kontakt (bought) thru work.

    Mostly when I dl from AudioX, the instrument loads perfectly.

    However sometimes the instrument loads, the image looks good, but I can see that "memory" is 0, so I know the samples didn't connect, so I can't hear anything when I touch the keyboard.

    Can someone walk me through how to connect it?

    (I have Kontakt 6.5.3 / Mac Intel Big Sur)

    one version of Kontakt 6.5.3 I tried actually disabled your keyboard (the typing one). isn't there an update by now?
    for the other thing, you may require some other software from less BBB accredited sources.

    Thank you clone. I don't think it's a keyboard issue. You can see on the instrument panel, where it says "memory" that the samples aren't loading there. In most of the instruments from audiox you can see the memory loading up. But in a few cases, the memory just stays at zero. I know I have the samples, because the downloaded folder is huge.

    You might be right that some posts have damaged or dubious folders... but it seems a shame when the folder is 10GB+ ... it seems like there's just an organization problem or something.

    no, I think you need a scene release of Kontakt which will allow you to use libraries that you download from "other sources". And 5.1 to load libraries or the Kitty scripts. I just can't say which for certain because I have neither an m1 or Big Sur. and you probably need to get them to co-exist. but there were a bunch of fixed and proper versions of 6.5.3. and if you payed for the license you may as well have the latest copy of that one, as well.

    clone, so I what I need is a different Kontakt... either one that has been modified, or an earlier release, isn't that right? It's a good head start.
