I'm definately sure that im doing something wrong and need to help me on the following. When i try to hard pan left/right a vsti it stills produce sound on the other pan. So lets say i hard pan left a lead sound on my vsti it also produce a lower signal on the right. Is there a way to isolate it it? Because it ruins my mix.

Thats my first post in the forum Hello to all.

Hi Titan, what DAW are you using? And how are you panning the vsti? Through the mixer or through some other means?

Sounds like the daws master pan setting is set to less than the maximum width amount, just guessing but I'd see if it has that first, I used to get the same thing with old cubase, and never realised it could even do that.

I'm using cubase 6 64bit. Even if i pan it through the mixers audio channel (output), or the vsti itself there is a sound generated on the opposite pan.

  6. Try to pan the "master" VSTi track instead of the midi track...
If doesnt works, you must check the Stereo Pan Law in your host and set it to equal power...

When you pan totally left or right the signal is panned TOTALLY left or right :dunno: Have you any effect on the vst or in an AUX bus?
