The guy literally said 18 seconds into this video "no ILOK key required for any vienna products from now on"
I got curious and tested the free instrument directly downloading from vienna assistant, no ilok activated and it worked.

 

Is that for all instruments or just the free HELLO instruments?

 

He explicitly said for all vienna products from now on but we have to wait to find out , but previously free instruments only worked when Ilok key is activated. So they at least removed Ilok for free instruments as of now, no Ilok key activation is required for free instruments.

this video are from 3 Years ago ! as an legit user i didnt seen anything about removed ilok , the latest version of the Vienna Player still have ilok code . no key means probably as you can have the licenses on ilok dongle or use your Products activated on ilok Cloud ? my question are where did you get this Information from ?

 

Ok my bad my mistake, i concluded myself because the legit syncron player installed from their vienna assistant plays the free instruments even though no ilok key is activated either in dongle or on ilok cloud. Previously the library wont even show if the license is not activated even if it was the free one.

 

you probably have the R2R Synchron Player and the legit Synchron Player installed on the same PC . correct ?
