    Hi

I have recently installed Windows 10 and had to reinstall all of my VST's including VPS Avenger.

When I open it the GUI is so large that I am unable to get to the "resize" menu in the top left (the GUI is just so zoomed in).

I have tried increasing (and decreasing) my computer monitors resolution to try and shrink it enough so I can reach the resize menu but for some reason on Win 10 all this does is shrink the desktop but not the apps GUI.

I can not even make a screen grab to post an image here....

I am stuck - any ideas??

I think there's a keyboard shortcut (alt + space, M, cursors?) that will allow you to move it back onscreen & choose the resize option. VPS are a bunch of unthinking, cowboy devs.

Hi Famouslut sadly that did not work. It seems when you click on any of the windows short cut keys it deselects the app GUI.

"Search the registry for "Avenger", then look through all the instances it finds for that word until you find
"EditorScale" and change its value to something smaller than what it is at the moment, such as 50 instead of 100.

Can you temporarily change your screen resolution in Windows 10 so everything will be a smaller size before you launch your DAW? Then you can change it back after you set the GUI size for the plugin.

If you have AMD graphic card you can turn on the Virtual Super Resolution and have 4k-like resolution on a 1080p monitor. Check the attached file.

I think this should solve the issue. And I bet NVIDIA has something similar, too.

    Edit: Ops, I was late.

i find Avenger anyway overloaded, too big to much stuff on the GUI. It feels not creative to work with it. (But nobody beats Rob Papen, with his million sliders and stuff lol)

I guess if you are under 1080p, Avenger could get very ugly to see and do anything. I mean even for 1080p, the plugin GUI is quite huge.

Works this on another plugins too?

Because, I have exactly the same problem but with Mastering The Mix Reference 2, and with Metric AB plugin. Is there any way how I can make them smaller?

Maybe this plugins have resize function in the down corner but I simply can not see this function..So, if there would be a way how I can resize this plugins manually with registry I would be really happy :)

    Thank you so much!

Good Day my friend, I was wondering if you may have insight on how to perform this on a mac? I would imagine it would be in the Plist files but I dont't want to go messing around too much with things I don't understand. Such a great synth but I cannot resize the GUI which means I can't assign Midi Controls.

Since electriclash is Guest he won't answer and quoting him is not necessary. :winker:
Nonetheless, I hope some other members will jump in to help.

Could you be more specific? What do you mean with "Search the registry for "Avenger", then look through all the instances it finds for that word until you find "EditorScale". I didn't find any editorScale. I will appreciat your help so much!

Windows Operating System has a thing called registry editor, you open it by pressing Windows + R together at the same time.
This will open window called "Run" and inside type in
"regedit" or "regedit.exe" without the quotes of course.
Then press yes if prompted to confirm that you want to open Registry Editor.
Once registry editor opens, go to Edit > Find
using this you are able to search the registry.
Type in "Avenger" and it will find a registry entry called "VPS Avenger" and inside that entry there will be 3 items listed, one of them is called "EditorScale" and its value is set to 100, change that value by double clicking on it and typing in 50.
After that just exit the Registry Editor, re open the Avenger VST and it will be resized.
