voxengo should improve gui of the plugin

 

Voxengo has had the same bad GUIs on all their plugs since forever. But once you get past that, they make some really decent plugins and have a lot of very useful free ones too.

Bad guis / good plugs. Melda comes to mind too but at least they have some really nice 3rd party guis (not free) for their plugs.

Meh. Another verb? I think Im good for now.

 

ofcourse voxengo has best plugs but in reverb market you must have best gui design

 

... best sounding plugin GUIs are without a doubt from Airwindows.

 

I wonder why they put a picture of a Boss DS-2 there? that's a distortion pedal. The Boss Reverb is grey.

Boss DS-1?.. wtf?... well, it's the color of it, but it DOES have the knobs that the verb/delay pedal has.

I said DS-2, though if we're getting into finer detail, it looks more like the MD-2. And most Boss pedals have the same knob configuration. Just seems weird.

 

Airwindows plugins have no gui. It means there is almost no cpu and ram consumption, even for very very old pc. They have simple primitive algorithms, but it is enough for almost true emulations. And they extremely high quality algorithms from DIGITAL side. There is bitshiftgain that is cleanest gain with almost absolute absence of digital artefacts as truncation, etc. It is cleaner than any existing gain. DCvoltage is a DC offset "equalizer", you can create, increase or decrease DC offset. Dithering plugins, any you want, ready ones (pauldither, vinyldither as vinyl-like noise dither, tapedither as tape hiss style warm dither...) or BUILDATPDF to create your own dithering. Tubes, consoles, tapes (soon), any other vintage gear distortion inaccuracies (powersag), filters (unique ones, mastering grade), compressors you have never seen (experimental, transient, and more), andmuch many many many more. With these simple algorithms it is much more than enough to achieve super quality or true analog emulation. There is no "I am Slate and you must use only my super true stuff" hypeness. Airwindows plugins today are released as free. 3-8 plugins a month.
