    I think Logic X is the best in terms of GUI and second in terms of perf/rock-solidity behind Pro Tools.
    But I don't like how Apple stole Logic from PC so I will not give my vote to this DAW although it's the best overall :bleh:

    How bout a sister thread on DAWs and plugins that have problems with them like Waves seems to have for a lot of them and the possible solutions/fixes, good idea?

    Yeah I know the track icons you mean, but I meant when you go to add plugins to a track, instead of having a list of text for all the plugin names, you could have little pics to recognize plugins from the ui pic like in FL Studio....:wink:

    FL because of the step sequencer.
    No other DAW can beat it in this aspect and I can be really creative with it.

    Prefer to make my own loops rather than taking pre-made, repeat it 200 times and call myself producer. :rofl:

    i agree with your latter statement. not sure how people do this and look at themselves later in the mirror and call themselves producers either...very sad.
