Channel strip that models various vintage british preamps, compressors & EQs.

"Switches between sounds that simulate transformers and analog circuits. In addition to frequency response, it also simulates a comped feel and texture."

"It features modeling of the sound qualities and tones routed in large recording studios, including sounds through British consoles, cables, bantam patch bays, and even AD/DA, which can add a strong analog texture."

    Toggleable 2x minimum phase oversampling

    Exact models:

Preamp: Neve 1084 & 31102, unidentified "modern" preamp

Comp: Neve 2252 diode bridge comp, Neve 32264 console comp

EQ: 1084, 31102, unidentified "modern" EQ

Analog flavor is very nondescript and models various consoles & transformers in ways not entirely clear. It effects the box tone & harmonics.

Personal thoughts: Sounds fantastic. The diode bridge compressor in particular sounds like a more subdued VCA compressor with more grit, the way I always imagined one would sound but so far haven't heard with other emulations aside from maybe Kush Audio. Has nice, smooth saturation through & through although the differences between certain models can be surprisingly subtle.

One of my favorite parts is the internal noise toggle. Noise has 3 modes: Off, on & "mute." Whilst this could definitely be worded better I immediately got the hint & my suspicions were correct: This is noise without a "noise floor!" This is my preferred way of noise emulation; the internal waveshapers & algorithms have noise/randomness applied to them but there's no constant noise floor in the plugin itself! This means you get that nice sizzle of running noise through a saturator but without the common annoyances associated with noise/hum. This is the way Klanghelm MJUC does things.

tl;dr, if there's no processing/compression/saturation going on, there's no noise, but when processing is happening, you hear that saturated noise sizzle.
