Volume Envelope VS Lfo controlling volume

    lets say we use both to control the volume of the sound over time...

    the envelope and the LFO...

    which has more power over the sound, does one eliminate the other? i'm a bit confused over this how the work with each other

    Both serve the same purpose, but volume envelope (volume shaper?) has more options, multiband, ...
    For me they both work properly.

    my question is, if you apply both the LFO and the envelope on Volume for example, which one takes priority,and why

    It should be neither of these. When you for instance insert an LFO tool and add a volume envelope, the LFO would be processd first and then the envelope. So what you hear is the sum of both.

    It depends on the order you put them.
    In the end is the sum of the two.

    for example in Vital synth......you don't get to choose which is the order ...you just put both on volume

    i guess experimenting with pitch instead will make it more clear

    i don't know...i think it depends which is quicker to do one thing......then it follows onto the other...no idea need more experiementing

    They will affect the sound exactly according with their order in the audio chain: the first effect will do something and then pass the audio to the next one and that one will do something on the incoming sound. Nothig confusing.
