Could somebody please tell me if it's possible to hold the MIDI notes played on a keyboard in VM (especially in standalone)?
I'm pretty much looking for the same thing like the "hold" button of an Arpeggiator. But I can't find a module or any workaround to achieve this.
I'm sick of holding down chords all the time when playing i.e. long evolving pads or something.
Does anyone know a solution?

I remember I had an eye on that module yesterday, but then decided it wouldn't work. Running the demo now and it's not really working for the purpose. I'm getting constant output when cabling it to something like this:


But the module acts in kinda weird fashion. It reacts to the incoming notes, but sometimes it holds them, sometimes not. And quite often it also reacts when I'm releasing the keys on the keyboard
That's not really practicable. I also tried using it in combination with "MIDI to CV" or "Poly to Mono" (and other) modules, but I'm not getting any good results.

Another thing I tried as a workaround was this module, but this seems to be buggy (only plays notes until G, for instance).

Misuse of Latin. I.E. does not mean "or something", it refers to something specific.
Maybe you mean E.G., meaning "for example"?

But it's ok, a hint like this one helps improving. I probably meant "E.G.", but maybe I should've used "for instance"

 

Yeah, it's not important in this context really, but in the future.
It could mean the difference between someone understanding a techie problem with a plugin, or not, depending on how you misused it.
