Volkswagen up question

    Volkswagen up question

    i left the light switch to ON as shown on link below.

    but the car was turned off all night. (so i am not sure if this meant the lights would be on or not all night)

    but in the morning the car was not turning up and they had to come revive the battery....

    can someone tell me if this was supposed to happen due to that setting on the light or that has nothing to do with it?

    also when i have it on Neutral and i press gas, it only goes up to 4 on the screen i am not sure whats that thing called that shows how much gas u press, but it only goes up to 4 when in neutral, is that normal too?

    Hello @petrrr, which VW model do you have - give the exact designation.
    Check in the evening in the dark whether the light is on.

    The marked ones are not parking lights, bu low beam headlight.
    It means that they can drain completely the battery overnight depending on its capacity.
    However they should shut off when the key is out, at least in most cars nowadays.

    No worries, it can happen, just drive for an hour (if you must travel) and you should recharge enough to allow at least the next start.
    If you use charger it will take a lot more, due to low current charge.

    @BEAT16 Volkswagen up is the model, but thanks it seems ok now, i hope it does not die till i give it up its a rental
