Hey guys
I use Asio4All. While working with ableton live, I can not use or hear voice from Resonic which is an external sample player.
How can I use Voicemeter Banana to sort this problem so that I can use ableton and another audio/sample player together?

How much impact it will make on performance of DAW ? I have an underclocked core i5 notebook.

 

ASIO4ALL is stubborn. Maybe you should try looking into this. (I've never tried it though.)

The main problem is how to use it and is it gonna cost me processing ?

 

Voicemeter Banana does work well though I found it a little stressful to setup........ I didn't notice any latency problems

Voicemeter is the light version of Voicemeter banana and uses a bit less CPU.

After installing Voicemeter:
1- First select Asio4all as output inside Voicemeter in the Hardware out section. Asio4all icon appears in the notification area.
2- Click on the speaker icon and select Voicemeter as the default device.
3- Go to any application (eg. FL studio and select Voicemeter virtual asio instead of Asio4all).

that's it.
You can also use it for sending audio from one application to another for example from ableton to FL or vice versa.

Don't forget for hearing sound you need to run Voicemeter every time.
