i've installed VOCALOID3AE, then installed PowerFX Oliver voice pack.
worked 100% OK.
then i installed Internet CUL voice pack.
Now i get a "Visual C++ runtime error".
is the problem related to the pack or did i do something wrong ?
p.s. i've tried to re-install VOCALOID3AE & PowerFX Oliver only and i get the same error now ...

 

try uninstalling the CUL v/p

is it not possible that cul (or some of these) has installed some out of date visual c package, service pack, and that is why the error message comes up?

i had similar cases with other stuff's installation processes, the packages you mentioned i do not know (but at least i suspect a similar thing)... *yes*

you can check the installed visual c packages, service packs, in control panel's software management part... *yes*

oh, i have nearly forgotten, you can also check through the system registry if every vc++ thing is referenced to the correct directory, this also has happened to me in he past... *yes*

i've uninstalled everything , cleaned registry , installed only VOCALOID3AE & Oliver ... cause it used to work,
and i still have the problem.

-- is it normal to have 4 versions of vc++ 2008 ... ( found in control panel/add remove programs/installed programs and updates )

should i remove them all and install only the latest version of vc++ ??

yes it is normal to have 4+ version of both vc++ 2005 & 2008 .. x86 & x64.
each version operates independently within its own sidebyside space,
and each is specific depending on what application is using said version.

the problem is, some of the vc++ installers bundled with certain applications break those installations,
which requires you to manually reinstall/repair each one.

if you have a x64 system, you need both the x64 and x86 redistributables
