    Hi all,

    For a video tutorial purpose, I'm looking for a VST able to receive midi data sent to an instrument, say Serum for instance, that would show what I'm doing with my keyboard. It would show which keys I'm pushing obviously, but also MW and PW and, most important (because the previous are covered by several tools I already found), Channel Pressure / Aftertouch and also various CC.

    It should ideally be the representation of a virtual midi keyboard with knobs and sliders, so that when CC#11 is modulated there would be a knob rotating accordingly.

    Do you know if such a thing exist ?

    Thanks in advance dude and dudesses !

    Hi. Maybe search for virtual midi keyboard with MW/PW + knobs, like Bome Mouse Keyboard.

    With all that stuff that can be transmitted via midi I don't think there is a single visual tool to show it all, at least when it should use only part of the screen (how to fit there 88 keys, 127 encoders etc.pp). With midi I still find a simple text representation most useful.

    Thanks everyone

    @muse2love
    Thanx, but I should have been more specific as midi-ox is the perfect tool to monitor incoming midi events but it has no visual gui to represent graphically represent those events so it won't suit the purpose of a video tutorial.

    @Futurewine
    Thanks, it seems as something suitable for what I wanna do. Gonna check it !

    there are midi monitoring tools available and you can define what to show - im on osx and my tool is is called "MIDI monitor" i could do the same inside logic with an inspector tool "monitor" inside the midi envoirment. both isnt really visually appealing but sufficent for those who understand midi

    Thanks all (even @foster911 for that huge list :winker:).
    I finally found what I was looking for.
    So, if anyone needs the same kind of stuff this is what I finally choosed

    What I like is that you can display which CC is shown and how (a knob, a slider, a numbered box...) and that velocity is shown as a more or less saturated color on the current pressed key. Clever.
