Im planning to get first set of studio speakers as I still have klipsch 280f, even tho they still sound pretty okay but I have to often use my akg in earphones to fix bass and some other frequency abnormalities that my speakers wont reveal

So Ive heard lot good about visaton drivers but I cant hardly find reviews of visaton studio 1, its diy kit but Im planning to buy those parts separately as I want an active dsp controlled system and then I wouldnt have to spend money on external amp and after doing dsp system on my car I dont think I could go back to passive.

so how would studio 1 be with minidsp PWR-ICE125 amplifier compared to factory studio speakers in 2-4k range? total cost with minidsp would come up about 1.9k per pair.
