I'm thinking about possibility of using Vienna Ensemble Pro 6 server (Windows) as realtime audio processing host for MacOS workstation,

there is an amazing app called Hijack by Rogue Amoeba which allows hosting AU plugins and capture/output audio from either physical I/O or apps or systemwide,

VEP6 can handle 2-way audio streaming, so it should be able to receive stereo, process it, and send back,
something like Flux Junger Audio Level Magic for example ;)

strange issue I get so far is, running VEP6 in Parallels, once I set up Hijack with VEP6 AU plugins, within few seconds entire Hijack app crashes and so does entire VEP6 server app,

anyone has experience with similar setup?
