Vienna Ensemble - no sound when in VE window - but sound in cubase

    when I start an instance of VE in cubase 7, I can hear the sound of the instrument in cubase, but when I change to the VE window, the keyboard does not respond anymore.
    All other Instrumet plugins like Konakt work fine.

    Any idea?
