    Hi peeps,

I got some videos from a Producer Online Course and want to cut-out the most important parts
from it. Second export the soundstream from this video file.

    I'm on Windows 7.
Videoformat: MP4 (H264). Audioformat inside this video: AAC-Audio
Which Video Software can handle this (cutting video & export audio) ?
I think (not sure) Adobe Premiere can handle it. Other lightweight software
which can do this job on Windows?

    Cheers!

Premiere can definitely handle it but its a bit of a learning curve if you've never used it before.
If you want something easy to use right out the box and requires no manuals or tutorials, I would recommend PowerDirector by cyberlink. Its super EZ. Have you tried the windows movie maker that comes with the OS? Its kind of picky about what formats it supports though.
Once you get you video edit done you can easily rip the audio. Power director might have it in the render options, not sure. You can use a DAW that supports video and just render the audio out. I used to use an app called AoA audio extractor to rip whole movies for sound bites.

I'm not sure how extensive the features are Apple's QuickTime on Windoze (last I read, it was incompatible with Windoze 10), but that has really basic editing features that might allow you to make a few quick and dirty cuts to your video. For that matter, Windoze Media Player may have similar features. There may be a few free media players out there that have simple video editing controls.

    Hello.
Sony Vegas is like a video daw.
Edius is pro stuff, but it needs previous editing experience.
For quick cutting, Gilisoft Video Editor is excelent, reads all video formats, and cuts ANY format WITHOUT RE-ENCODING - transcoding only, în a matter of minutes.
    Good luck with the editing.

Try Avidemux v2.6. It's free and can handle H264.

Nice! I will try Gilisoft Video Editor and Sony Vegas at first.

But last question: If I want to do a bit more professional music video clip syncronised
to my music tracks (made with Ableton Live) and add special FX?
I know on Mac, best Videocutting software is Final Cut Pro X, but I'm only on Windows.
Which Videosoftware is similar like Final Cut ?
Is Sony Vegas compareable to Final Cut?
