I discussed with my mate StrongSound that we can make a post here for those wanting X tra samples.

The main tool u should use is Dragon Unpacker, wattos game extractor, .ogg extractor(must use if .ogg shows up) and if you want NDS audio use the NDS extractor.

Once installing the tools you can scan an audio pack from a game if it has one and pinch all it has even music. There is a 25% fail rate because it's just impossible with some game producers who don't encode in .wav/mp3/.ogg but some other wierd formats. If you see .fsb audio file use fsb extractor, or .xwb use unxwb, .upk use the upk and so on. Also get familiar with the "Hyper Ripper" set ti to Audio and it will scan a pack see if there's anything for you. In Options, file types, select ALL(dragon unpacker) it can identify files easier that are compatible with the prog.

On your way to more sounds!! Check out some of these games as a start. Please note many games come with pure .wav files no need to scan/unpack anything.

    - Act of War(both game and high treason work)
    - Age of empires(all the series work)
    - Blood Reign (both 1 and 2)
    - Broths in arms + >>Hour of heroes1.35<<scan for .wav
    - WWE Impact v3 + WWE RAW - Total Edition SE
    - Crusis Fatal Fake (rip voice and sfx to seperate folders)
    - Half-Life 2, (Portal 2 and many valve and sierra games)
    - Entire Quake series (use dragon unpacker here)
    - Command and Conquer Generals and Zero Hour (use dragon unpacker again)
    - Blizzard Studios games Warcraft and Starcraft series (figure it out yourself)

Enjoy. Remember if u don't want the music u will need to "arrange by size" after ripping and delete it manually this is what i normally do)

U will build up a nice collection of new game sounds in no time! Sfx, Voice, Ambience etc...

    Here's a taste of what u can get. http://www.fileserve.com/file/43hnHG3
