Looks cool as it uses Liquidsonic' Reverberate Fusion IR technology. Here is the announcement.

Reverb is perhaps the most fundamental effect used in music production. And since the birth of the digital reverb unit, there have been several industry standard, classic, and expensive units that pros have relied on to get the perfect depth, space, and emotion in their mixes. So when Slate Digital teamed up with Liquid Sonics to make a reverb plugin, it was obvious which classic digital reverb unit that we would model. All of them.

Introducing Verbsuite Classics. For the first time ever, eight of the most classic digital reverbs from the past forty years can be accessed in one single reverb plugin.. and some of these reverbs have never been offered before in a plugin. VerbSuite Classics captures the actual tone and modulation characteristics of a reverb using LiquidSonics' proprietary Fusion-IR processing technology. Unlike static impulse responses found in a typical convolution reverb, Fusion-IRs are able to reproduce the evolving character of modulated digital reverbs which makes it possible to create the lively and convincing acoustic spaces so essential for hit records.

VERBSUITE CLASSICS will be in beta testing next week, and will be released very soon.

Get It In The Everything Bundle For Only $14.99/mo or purchase it for $199.

Looks nice. Shame about the ilok2 thing. I swore I'd never get a dongle and yet here I am with Cubase. Even if I wanted this I don't know that I'd really have the USB ports to support another dongle. Otherwise I'd really like to grab this, a couple other slate things and AirEQ

    Thanks for sharing.

I bet it sounds amazing. Slate makes the best sounding processors I think I've ever heard.

Thank Lord it's not as cheesy looking as the Reverberate.

I agree that Slate's stuff looks good. I personally love devices that look like real hardware. Not some futuristic, children's drawing... cough, cough, valhalla... cough, cough.. :D

Disclaimer: yes yes YES!!! I know it's not about the look of a plugin, but the quality. Valhalla has great plugins, and they're ugly as fuck. I know.

P.S. when the hell is that Swiss Army Knife Comp supposed to be released?.. I got an email last Spring that said Summer was the release date... I assume that was an emu of the distressor.

Steven said on FB earlier today that they're looking to release Verbsuite on Wednesday.

I'm a little bit upset that they're taking away LX480 because I have dozens of projects with it that I won't be able to open, but then I realized Utopia liberated them

Most of the time I prefer the children's drawing version. They're often more clearly laid out and usually (but not always) are the ones that have more 'user convenience' type of interface features. Devs seem to think that because something looks like hardware it has to work like hardware. Case in point, compare Serum to... hell, just about any VA synth.

But we definitely agree on this...

Nah still not as great as the inventor of Reverbs ! Mr. (Lexicon) all the way, and liquidsonics? Great plugs but now Slate got his 2 cents on them? not so sure it was a wise move for them? Slates plugs aren't that good, its all comercially over hyped by the loser himself? Yup Steven Slate

Here's hoping for a December liberation of the 2016 Slate stuff...

And Valhalla make unbelievable plugins despite not having a household name like Lexicon and a rudimentary gui.

I personally like the look of the Valhalla plugs. I'm a minimalist kind of guy though.
Reverberate 2 is awesome and it's feature-set is anything but minimal.

That video is incredible. He is so badly green-roomed (or blue-roomed, in this case) into the studio image, it's hillarious.

Also, his face is so weird...It looks like he's made of CGI. His eyes are too close to each other and his nose is too far away from his upper lip. Really creepy face.
