Hey guys im still on Big Sur using my mac M1 and im kinda afraid of upgrading to Ventura - do you might know which plugins do not work for sure on Ventura? im kinda scarred that Addictive Drums will stop working...

I just bought a new machine and Plugin Alliance crash my system so far.

 

excuse me guyz, Im going to buy a new computer and was study the Mac alternative. But if I have really understand there is far less cracks plugins avaible for this machine? Is it right?
So im gonna stay with a PC cause Im a crack addict even if less is more I need all the tools my mentors uses, just confirm please,

I have a friend who installed a second user on a ext ssd,

1. you create the 2nd admin user,
2. drag drop copy it to the ext ssd,
3. erase it from the internal ssd
4. Then open users in prefs to point to the ext ssd (gets tricky but once its done you have a bigger ssd)

And she only has a few problems.
-pro tools insertion with plugins, none load of ext ssd user
-PA crash sometimes, simple things like bx_yellowdrive etc, they work but for no reason randomly crash.

Avenger, Hybred3, Waldorf Nave not responding to midi?
After upgrading to Ventura and a m1 Mac suddenly these plugins stopped responding to midi or midi tracks,
I can pull up their own virtual keyboards and year sound but no way around the normal way in Logic 10.7.7
I opened other plugs and they all work properly, but not these three or sylenth1...

When I tried reseting midi in VPS Avenger under the systems pain menu nothing happens...I can only hear sound if I click on the avenger keyboard with a mouse.

Can anyone share a midi map so I can import it or explain what I need to do to get Avenger, Nav and Sylenth1 working?
problem is people on this site cant trust everyone cuz its public, anyone could be reading, posting, replying and in my past experience, even if you trust somebody after a period it’s still the same. Nobody wants problems and I don’t blame them… but that’s not the point here., what I’m saying is that no one is comfortable with sharing detail advise on obtained products.., but what we are discussing are normal problems and not to do with wether the products where obtained (in one state) cant be upgraded or m1 ready..regardless…we talking rosetta with Logic and these are the problems since i upgraded and also wish to as well a user on a ext ssd.

AVID claimed that once Pro Tools is m1 the insertion error will be solved, many said it was a lie, the software was designed with their biggest clients in mind, the FEDS…atleast since the early 90s when they switched from nagra tape recorders giving AVID tax breaks, priority access to educational institutions ,post production industry leeds, etc so Avid like Apple tries to isolate users into disposable internal ssds so once you start using symlinks they have issues scanning your drives to exploit you for whatever reason they desire to.(we cant get into that online but stay tuned cuz ppl are revolting)..

so maybe we can start helping each other?

 

I own an M1 MBP and my advice is upgrade to Monterey. Even before switching to M1 I’ve always kept my Mac one version behind the current one to avoid compatibility issues. Just a thought.

 

Still on Intel. So far no issues with plugins in Ventura. But officially, not all vendors' plugins are compatible yet. Usually AVID and UAD are slow af when it comes to macOS support.

you mean DOWNGRADE from Ventura? I see no reason why if users of these plugins here claim they have no problem...

Aside Pro Tools assertion issues due to higharchy set ups to leave open backdoors for iLok...all else according to users here the vst synths all work, those who got them working ar refusing to share how....I advise this site to go semi private in forums so low life developers who need crack cash mind their own business and focus on marketing.

Do a backup using Time Machine before you upgrade to whichever newer MacOS, try your DAWs and plugins on the new system. If there is something not working that you can't miss, then you can go back to the previous state reversing everything with Time Machine.
It takes time but nobody can guarantee you that the certain software you have will or will not work on the new OSs.

 

Plugin Alliance plugins are crashy in Logic Pro on Ventura. I still can't use them and it's really annoying. I won't be buying any PA plugins in the future because of this. I have quite a few and I haven't been able to use them since late last year for this reason. I think they should have been made Ventura-compatible by now, At least SOME of them. And I don't really understand why I only seem to see the crashing behaviour in the au and not the VST. I can use their plugins in Wavealb when I'm mastering, but not in Logic.

And before anyone says it, I was forced to upgrade to Ventura for other reasons, otherwise, I might still be on Monterey myself.

Hi guys,
I still don't understand how to get the cracked software to work on a Mac. I bought an M1 recently, before that I always used a PC with Windows. Unfortunately I upgraded to Ventura straight away and don't find the way to go back to Monterey.
Every time after extracting the cracked app when clicking on it I get the message "app cannot be opened". I've already set up the Gatekeeper to allow third party software, but it still doesn't work. Have you got an idea what I'm doing wrong? Or is it indeed just Ventura's fault?
So far I've tried it with Ableton, Logic Pro and Davinci Resolve.
Thanks a lot for the help! I'm lost here and I don't have the money to buy the official versions :/

 

Try right click and than open. It's not Ventura issue.

 

Is it this error? "You may not have the privileges to open the app, the app may be damaged, or it may not be installed. If you aren't an administrator of your Mac, the administrator may be preventing you from using the app. Contact the administrator of your Mac. "

This usually means that the app either needs to be Codesigned, or you must reset the permissions by Clearing All. Get Codesigner and BatChmod, or Permissions Reset 2. If it is not either of those 2 causes, make sure you are right clicking or Control +Clicking ->Open to run things.

Your problem could also be caused by something like simple file corruption. Normally if something doesn't extract correctly in Keka, the Unarchiver will usually work.

But my guess is Codesigning it will fix it. or "right click".

 

Thank you! I tried right clicking it, that didn't work. And the message that I get is really just "The application 'xyz' cannot be opened". And I use the Unarchiver.
So you suggest to download a software that codesignes the app for me? I'm new to Mac and there is no such thing as codesigning in Windows. So how exactly does that work?

the general idea is that it is a code signature which says "it's ok, i put it here". get codesigner from sister site. or you can do it manually in terminal. in the app, you browse to your file and it does the rest.

BatChmod and Permissions Reset 2 are two other small utility programs that are helpful. You can google them. Sometimes one will work and the other will not; but i have no idea what causes it.

 

You don't have to do anything with TNT's Logic Pro, would seriously watch out where I download this stuff, especially knowing that there are some malwares going around Logic Pro and they can't be run either.
